Best Buddies

Best Buddies pairs college students and Mt Pleasant citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Once they are paired, they work on creating a one-to-one friendship throughout the school year. We host monthly events for all members to get together and have fun! Past events have included a bowling night, a holiday party, a karaoke night, and a game night.

Mission: Best Buddies is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
